Pumping the water out

This pump takes the water from the underground (active) mine and dumps it in an old open pit near by. It depresses the water table underground allowing people to work in the mine and not be underwater, sometimes they need a few going at one time, one of them costs about £500,000 or AU$1,000,000 a year to run.

This is about 640am, on my way back from collecting core at the mine. Another slow day. Back pain has returned so I'm doing core strengthening again, going to try and do this every day regardless of if I have the pain. On the subject of pain, gradually my chest pains have dissipated, I still get them they can still be sharp or come repeatedly through the day, but I'm getting them less than one time in every few days.
