The long drive

We were allowed to leave work early today at 11.30, but I had to wait till the back of 12 before J come over with the car. After a quick stop for fuel it was on with the long drive to Brum. Managed it in 5 1/2 hours, which wasn't too bad considering it was raining all the way.
Arrive and unloaded the car before going around to J brothers for dinner. As his wife is Spanish they tend to have their big dinner on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day.
I spent most of the morning on the shop floor and found this nice surprise waiting for me on my desk. A bottle of wine that I had apparently won in the raffle earlier in the day.
