Fresh Pesto

Pesto with shrimp on red lentil spaghetti, and tomatoes with basil, olive oil, and fleur de sel.

This week’s CSA box had a large bunch of fresh basil, so... pesto! I picked up the pasta out of curiosity, and it was very nice; it has a nice al dente bite and the color adds some interest. The tomatoes, also from the CSA, served as a nice medium for the little bit of basil that didn’t go into the pesto.

Now for some tawny port and chocolate...
