Ready to Fly

Over the years I have been far too ready-to-fly - as my photo back catalog testifies, I really have clocked up way too many air miles over the years (I did get into the habit of buying carbon offsets at one point).

More recently I have, where possible, tried to use trains (to Brussels, Switzerland and Austria are all easy - and more fun - by train) and I even once went from Oxford to Aberdeen by overnight bus (maybe that was more ordeal than fun) before getting the boat to Shetland.  

I've got to the point now where I feel guilty when I opt to fly but there really isn't an alternative when I need to get back to Shetland for a week-end.
