Tough Time for Oreo

Oreo loves to be outside at night in the summer. We keep her inside when we are at Oakland - there are too many dangers in the woods there - but when we are home, she is usually safe. This morning when I got up, she came in, but she was limping badly on her back leg. We don’t know if she got in a tussle with another cat or animal (there don’t seem to be any wounds or apparent injuries), or if it was something else. It’s a little better tonight, but we are watching her closely. She rested all day, she has eaten, seems strong mentally. She’s no spring chicken, at over 15 years old. She’s such a good kitty, and such a family fixture, we need to have her around for a long time. I will keep you posted on her status.
