Lovely colours on a rainy New Year's Eve

Windy and rainy to see the old year out - perhaps next year will be drier!

Love the promise of a New Year, love starting a new diary, a new calendar and leaving behind all the unmet and undone stuff to start afresh ... Bring it on!

We have had an amazing 2012: a retirement, a 'big trip', selling our family home after 30 years in a town on one side of the country and moving to a tiny village on the other to 'start over'. Sadness and joy too - waving goodbye to our daughter as she set off indefinitely to Australia, and so happy she is enjoying life down under.

New Year's eve, so much to look forward too!
