The Birds are back

Lovely to see some of the usual suspects coming to the bird feeders this morning and hope that once the word's out the Woodpeckers, more Tits and even the Wren family from last year will turn up. Not too bothered about the naughty young squirrels though!

It's been a beautifully sunny day and this afternoon we showed our faces at a Strawberry cream tea extravaganza in aid of the local Church in the village. We can be quite the socialites, even though we only knew one person there, the hostess, who invited us suggested we attend!  Other than that we've had a peaceful day and whilst I cook the dinner Mr T's dealing with the lawns - looks very hard work, think he'll sleep well.
