Fish River Canyon

Day 5: Namibia

Spent a wonderful day at Fish River Canyon (possibly the least visited natural wonder of the world and, according to our guide book, the 2nd largest after the Grand Canyon, although this depends on what you are measuring!). It is a spectacular place and we enjoyed many hours wandering along the rim.

The extra shows a Quiver Tree, of which a few are found in this area. Very excited to have a zebra crossing the road in front of us when we returned to our accommodation this evening.

I have now back blipped and am up to date, but I do apologise for lack of comments etc. The WiFi is slow and the power keeps going off.
