Rich/Plenty
I've tagged this for #WidWed100719, whose subject this week is 'Rich/Plenty'.
As you can see, I've had a gentle visit to Morn Hill, thinking of butterflies - blues in particular - which I hoped to capture. Imagine my surprise at being greeted by the Exmoor ponies, who I thought were always off the reserve in summer. But not this year, anyway.
For richness, I'm thinking of the colour and shine of her coat, but also the richness and plenty of grasses and flowers. I wouldn't say they were lush, it's dry up here, but no Exmoor pony on its home turf would ever have this quantity of long grass and flowers to feed on. They were tearing up huge mouthfuls and looking thoroughly satisfied with life.
