Street Shot

A day of music  : Fidelio this morning. Andres was in great form with a weather of historical detail of the period when Beethoven was composing it. Apparently, a 16 yr old Schubert sold his school books to raise money to buy a ticket for the 1st performance of Fidelio. It was not an immediate success. 
I had the singing group this afternoon so went for a lunch treat to the wonderful Falafel shop in Upper Goat Lane. Sitting outside I was aware of this beautiful young woman with her easel set up, further up the street. She' d gone before I had a chance to see what she was painting.
