A Good Sport

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Mini Princesses were exhausted after the shock of getting up at 8 am yesterday so breakfast didn’t happen for them today. The Prince and I left them in peace and went for a walk and a coffee. It is a slight juxtaposition that I can get very bored after an hour of sitting by a pool but could happily spend an entire day sitting in a cafe watching the world go by.

The Explorer had a 24 hour stay of execution for her forfeit as she wasn’t well yesterday, but she dutifully presented herself at the pool wearing the entire contents of her suitcase today. It was hilarious in its own right but also because of the very confused looks from other people round the pool. The sports bra hanging down underneath her hat completed the outfit perfectly.

The 10 of us went for dinner in Poseidon, the fine dining restaurant in the hotel which was fantastic although the vegan dessert of grated vegetables with a picked gerkin stock was definitely questionable and rejected out of hand by the vegan!
