North Uist
Again it rained overnight and was mixed in the morning so we decided to go on an RSPB otter walk in the morning. Again it was interesting; sadly no Otters, but we did see Hen Harriers and a White Tailed Eagle amongst others. After lunch the weather was looking better so we decided to go up the Marilyn of Eabhal. There was a boggy path most of the way, which was unexpected and we also saw a lot of people which was also unexpected as the hill is really quite remote. The blip is a panorama from about half way up looking north east towards Lì Tuath and Lì a Deas (South and North Lee) and the amazing loch studded landscape of North Uist. The extras are a secret stone by Mel and Bel from Glasgow, a sculpture, Sanctuary by Roddy Mathieson at Locheport and an amazing rainbow just north west of Lochmaddy.
Yesterday’s blip.
