I know last summer was exceptional and that there was no way a repeat would happen this year, but some sunshine would be good.  Sunshine that lasts longer than a few hours at a time!

I spent a good few hours ironing.  That's one good thing about rubbish weather, the ironing gets done!  

Other than that I spent the day making cards for upcoming birthdays and anniversaries, followed by dinner and an early night as have to be up early to get Lola to the vet for 8.30am for her spay.  It's just over an hour's drive away (on a good day) but as we will be battling through rush hour traffic it will take longer. 

Wish it was this time next week with my girl well on her way to recovery.
