Long Wait
Thalictrum rochebrunianum aka Meadow Rue. The books say it needs a soil that does not dry out ..... which kind of explains the long wait. Three years from sowing to flowering but worth the wait. You'll be seeing it here again I'm sure.
A day of many parts. The plumber came at nine to finish repairing a leak in the shower room so we were up earlier than would otherwise have been the case. We had finally arrived home at 120am having acquired sixty packs of sandwiches on a midnight stop at services. Someone was hungry and found that the sandwiches were now free as after midnight they were over their date! "Take as many as you want." Having overstocked they had far more than we could fit in our fridge but at least these were not wasted - I delivered them to St Martin's trust for the homeless in the city this morning.
Lots of odd jobs done, indoors and out and now an early night beckons.
