Summer at da Crofthoose

Finally, a decent summer day.  My garden was reading 30 degrees this morning, that was in direct sunlight, but was in the upper teens in the shade.  A calm day, with a gentle breeze, and sunny all day.  Clouded over this evening.

I've had a day working at the Croft House Museum.  It's been a steady day of visitors.  Cut the grass, and then headed down to Cunningsburgh.  Walkies with Sammy, and then popped along sister Laura.  Off to work in the pub later.

It's been the Croft House Museum open day, but not as much on compared to last.  There was still a good turnout.  Various bairns activities, talks, walks and topics focused on peats too.  Coming towards the end of the day, I got surprised by sister Julie and nieces popping by.  They had a good look around the museum, and also enjoying the sunny day.  L-R - Anna, Erin (a friend), Lottie, Michaela and Julie.  Taken at South Voe, Boddam.
