Happy Hosta!

It was a wet start to the day & continued to rain through till about 1400! It’s only water! Visitors from Seattle were dressed for the weather, we set off for Dunrobin Castle, near the village of Golspie, it’s a magnificent castle with 189 rooms! Sitting high above beautiful gardens overlooking the North Sea. We watched the falconer with his beautiful birds of prey in the rain.
We then drove alongside Loch Fleet to view the seals on the sand banks and all the variety of wading birds to one of my favourite places .....the town of Dornoch for lunch, I always check out the lovely wee book shop there!
Rain had stopped when we drove back to Inverness, the views were much clearer!
I liked this pot of Hostas outside one of the lovely homes near the cathedral........Hostas grow really well in our climate!
I would post extra blips if I knew how to do it.........don’t seem to be able t9 do it using a tablet!
Another grand day!
