The Clan Gathering

We are well and truly settled into our gorgeous and rambling old cottage for the weeks hoilday. Friends are steadily arriving and we were 14 at lunchtime, and 20 by the evening. The sauna is alight and getting good use night and day. The kids are having a wild time, the adults chilling and reconnecting.
We took a long muddy walk to the 400 yr old Westbury White horse today, which has been concreted over to stop the chalk erosion (the cement factory is at the bottom of the hill)! The wild wind on the top of the hill ridge provided a lot of fun, it was pretty easy to take off and be thrown backwards, so we all went for it together............we all made it back fine, but needed a wee warming nip of something in the pub to settle us down!
A few sounds and a dance tonight will get us ready for the main event tomorrow night. Not sure that I'll be going til dawn, but it'll be good. Hubs is the party animal and can represent us well in case I flake out before then!
