A hidden stone
I had a second outing this afternoon and unfortunately missed a visit from some friends who left a beautiful lime plant on our doorstep.
We visited the churchyard of St Nicholas in Chislehurst. The church itself appears to be undergoing some repair work as there was scaffolding and builders fences over quite a lot of the church and up the steeple.
My blip is of a painted stone placed in a niche in the old stone wall in the church porch. I have not noticed this before so maybe someone has placed it there recently. It is possible it commemorates WW1 centenary.
