The bed frame is finished! I did say I wouldn't blip it, but we did such good work with it.  We did have some trouble...The drill got caught and didn't want to budge... and the drilling machine had trouble gripping the drill so it didn't go anywhere. We got it loose after some wiggling and trixing. And then my friend came up with a solution on how to get through the three layers of wood easier. Then the drilling machine got really tired, so instead of using a larger drill to make a slightly larger hole were the bolt was larger, I tried to use a hammer instead and that worked. 
We did pause after finishing the shorter sides. We let the drilling machine rest and charge, and we got some fluids, fruits and cakes. :) 
My friend and I do make a great team and we don't get tired of each other.  
I've also put the, I think the word is 'lath'? I have a bottom made of laths, covering the bed fram and then my mattras is resting on the laths. So, the laths and mattresses are in place and it is a higher bed than I had before so that will feel a little bit strange! But, it is done and it will feel great to not have to sleep on the floor anymore. :)
