Wet!

We are spending today and tomorrow with my sister in law while she house sits.

We met at Goodrich Castle, which I would definitely recommend as being one of the best castles I've been to in a long while - the boys loved it - a keep to climb, a dungeon to look in and a moat to wander around.

As it had been a rainy day we practically had the castle to ourselves and the rain held off, until we went for a walk a little later on. The rain started just as we were reaching the top of the hill and we all got soaked to the skin (and my camera was just the right side of moist) The light was absolutely gorgeous across the valley through the rain, but there was no chance of me taking my camera out of its bag, except for this one quick shot.

It was back 'home' and straight into our pjs by 5pm - real fire, red wine and choccies - a perfect end to the day
