Attempt number 5...

I got a set of crochet hooks for Christmas (not really helping the old-women thing) and a book that says "crochet is really easy and really simple" as the first sentence...IT LIES. I think if someone could point me at least along the right lines, that would help, for the moment I'm learning from my mistakes, and this is attempt number 5 which granted, is looking much more successful than previous attempts.

Quiet day, Alastair came over in the afternoon. I really would have liked to get out the house for a walk but the rain was as heavy as ever.

As I'm spending the next couple of days at Alastair's and won't be back till my little brother has gone back for uni, we had a family chinese, super tasty :D
