In The Occupied Territory

Tap turns on the water

Had a very interesting day.
Went to Banff to buy nettle soap ended up buying a new mattress. Well it was on sale. 50% off.
We did get the soap and some white asparagus. We also saw an orca in MacDuff.
Then came back home to start putting in the automatic watering system.
This is the start of it. Just have got to attach the two sets of pipes and drips now.

We then headed to Fraserburgh where we had our dinner in Findlay’s Chipper.
On the way back we bought two bags of freshly cut peat from a couple of guys who had been digging it up in a field on the Strichen road.
It’s one of the village’s local businesses that continue, albeit in a smaller scale, that has been going on for centuries.
In fact that is what the village was first built for, workers digging peat.
