Chateau de Sillé-Le-Guillaume

Off the tourist Chateau trail but probably the most interesting by far. The internal wooden structure of the roof dome was pretty much still intact (apart from a few replacements) - an incredible piece of engineering.
After this visit we had a 6 mile walk around the forest and the inevitable visit to Super U to top up on essential supplies aka red wine!
