White Cliffs

An early start for our flight to Gatwick. It took us 1 hour to fly from Cork to London and 2 hours to get from Gatwick to our car rental pick-up place! What a nightmare. A slow drive down to the East Coast through lots of roadworks.
Tasty Sunday lunch in Kent before a quick visit to Varne Ridge to P’s bench. (Until one hour earlier I didn’t even know where we were heading to meet friends)
Onwards then to meet our friends and abig welcoming dinner in a smashing old English country house.
