A flower and a bee

An exuberant bloom. Perhaps someone can tell me what it is, because I don't know! If you look carefully there is a bumble bee in there somewhere.

The man who planted them and fellow blipper Knottman2 have both put me on the right track; the flower is blue tansy Phacelia tanacetifolia. It is an introduced species from the US south west.
