A little color on a grey day

I am worn out from hosting our family party...we aren't used to a houseful of people anymore, and as much as we enjoy seeing everyone and having the cousins spend time together, we feel our age when they all go home!!!

I built a fire and love trying to capture the shapes...apologies for changing my photo, but I just love this firebird!!

This is all I have the energy to shoot this afternoon...but I am expecting great things from Tim, Laura and Bryan! They invited me to a blipmeet today that I wasn't able to attend, but I'll bet they had a great time!!
