'We are what we do.'

Today's project!

I wouldn't normally post a photo of my bedroom but this was today's project! Creating a new throw from a double quilt found in a charity shop. I haven't had the time to do it since getting the fabric so the holidays are perfect for getting on with things like this! It also means I can hide the inevitable paw prints on the duvet cover!

I can tell that it has been one hell of an Autumn term as it has taken a whole week of slumping before finding the energy to do anything!

Three beautiful things:
Feeling more motivated.
A trip to the laundrette. (freshly washed and dried bed linen as well as half an hour of undisturbed reading team with a Latte)
Relaxing with The Holiday (one of may favourite films - I need to learn how to be the leading lady and get a little gumption!) and a box of Thorntons.

One thing to be grateful for:
A night of windy weather dried the field out quite a bit meaning that the dogs were nowhere near as caked in mud!

This is quite surprising as I was woken at 6am by Marmite whimpering downstairs. Only to realise that he had been disturbed by a thunder and lightening storm. No rain though, in fact initially when I looked out the window I could see the stars and moon on the right and the lightening on the left!
