Kea

Today we took our 5 year old grandson to Auckland zoo. It was a great day out and the first time he has been for ages when we didn't have to leave at lunchtime to get his brother home for a sleep.
This is a Kea which is found in the South Island and is a very destructive bird which we experienced years ago when one destroyed a pair of trainers on a surfboard on the roof of our car.
