Wild

We took Immy back up to York today. She starts an 8 week research internship at the university from tomorrow. She hopes it will be both interesting and give her some proper work experience, putting some of the chemistry practices she's been learning into practice. We had a nice easy drive up and after a quick cuppa with Immy and her boyfriend, we left her to get prepared for the week. We popped across York to visit some very good friends and enjoyed a catch-up over their homegrown fruit and homemade scones. Out the front of their house is a wild flower garden so that got photographed.

Back to the road, we headed home. It's a good 3.5 hours drive so we stopped for dinner on the way.
