At 9.45pm I remembered I haven't blipped yet today...so here are some hens getting ready for bed. They don't like it when anyone goes near when they want to sleep, so I don't get too close.

They're about seven feet off the ground in our leylandii trees...and they are not our hens - they moved into our garden despite having a nice hen house next door. It always makes me smile to see them up high - this lot are truly free range, and free spirits.
