The Chapel.

This may seem like rather an ordinary blip of an old part of a building, but this is a Chapel in a very old friends house, Blackmore Farm. Their daughter is shortly to marry and they applied to the Archbishop of Canterbury for a license to allow her to be married in the old Chapel, which was granted, thus allowing them to be married in a religious ceremony! How cool is that. The house was at one time an Abbey and is extraordinary old and very lovely. See extra for their photos of it.

We were with them to celebrate the owners 60th birthday who has been a friend since my schooldays and continued to be a close friend due to our involvement in Young Farmers.

It was such a lovely evening catching up with old pals we haven’t seen for quite a while. A very happy evening.
