Swarm walk

Both dogs walked this morning round a local park.

Made some frames up for hives as it was raining first thing.

Got a text from a beekeeper needing a hand with a swarm in a difficult place in a tree. Managed to get it and put it in a nuc hive. As we watched them go in found a queen in the grass balled by bees. Found its hive and ran it in.

Up to my local apiary. A quick check and all well except one hive that was aggressive so will head to out apiary to get sorted.

Home and food they to out apiary.

Spotted the swarm right away. So dealt with first and did my hive checks. Found the swarm hive and new queen hatched out of her cell as I was checking so hive has a chance.

Another hive with queen cells so split into a nuc and hive.

Walked the swarm in and home.
