The Villa

An early (for us) get away from Somerset this morning...on the road by 9am. It’s a long laborious haul up north but we arrived about 3.30pm after an uneventful trip.

My blip is our home for the next three nights...latterly a home for unmarried mothers run by the nuns, now a four star hotel and wedding venue. The stone work is beautiful and the roof is tiled with Coniston green slate...worth a fortune these days!
