1716. A gift from Arron

Our youngest grandson made this for us and it has pride of place in our lounge along with a couple of other similar ones and some wind chimes he and my oldest granddaughter made years ago...her wind chimes must be about 13 years old and they’re faded and they have bits missing but still on display.
We’ve been to Dundee this morning to look for a new sofa as we’d like a change from our large corner sofa. We found several possibilities but there is one that we both loved so it looks like that will be the one we order later in the year. We’re going for fabric this time for a change but it looks and feels like suede but warmer and softer than leather. We’re going to change the carpet and get rid of a couple of pieces of furniture too but I’m hoping to keep my curtains as they’re a beautiful gold colour. It will probably not be completed until around February time due to holidays and other things we need to do but I’m sure it will be worth the wait!
