Anxious parents
Seagull 231F and his/her mate anxiously guarding their final hapless offspring who has followed his/her siblings and tumbled off the tiny bit of flat roof down to our guttering that's at about 7ft. No way back up the steep, slippy zinc. This was Tuesday. On Wednesday it made the inevitable descent to the balcony. The cats have been intrigued and terrified in equal measure by all this so there was nothing for it - called in the SSPCA yet again. A cheery young chap arrived and had the chicklet in a box in no time and assured us that it would have a grand life at their wildlife centre alongside about 100 other chicklets, de-parasited, well fed and released when ready. Sadly not able to explain this to Mr and Mrs 231F who have been flying around looking for it ;-( Extra photo is Wee Matey, as we knew it, on its descent of no return.
