Blackcurrants

I picked the blackcurrants off the bush this morning - they are pretty well all ripe (with just a few beginning to show signs of drying out) so the timing seemed ideal. Quite a decent crop from our single bush.  Picking the blackcurrants and separating them from the leaves, stalks and debris (including ants!) is a slow and fiddly process but the fruit is delicious.
