Gifted

A little girl in my class gave both of us this little box of cakes at the end of the day today! I didn't realise that her father had made them! 

I had quite a nice day today, but it's getting hot, and we're getting towards that clocking off stage....

I visited a little girl at nursery this afternoon. She got a little lost in the shuffle during move-up day on Tuesday, so it was nice to see her in a familiar environment. Another little girl who will be in my new class recognised me instantly, and spent a lot of time circling me on her bike whilst I talked with the nursery key workers! 

I'm quite looking forward to next year, even though it'll be tricky to begin with. I do like a challenge ;-)

I have a sibling of a child I teach now, and his grandma told me at the door when she picked him up today,  "we're delighted" that I'm having his little brother next year. So am I. It's quite nice to be appreciated ;-)
