Birdie on #15
As we approached the 15th green, there was something big moving across it. Tony left me off with my camera and I slowly crept up. It was a red-tailed hawk that was more interested in what it was hunting than me.
I am grateful the group behind us was two holes back. It gave me time to get some pretty awesome pictures. (see extras). The only thing that I can see it caught was a grasshopper. We finished putting out and it was still on the green when we left. Not bothered by us at all.
When we were on the 17th hole there were two circling overhead and one down on the lava calling to them. What a morning.
Until tomorrow.....
