The Fortress, Koblenz

I think this building came close to being a castle in Pepper's line of thinking and it was very hot. This was our last visit in Koblenz taking the cable car up the mountain across the river. It is a huge bomb-proof structure, nowadays kept as a museum to its past and seems to be used as an outdoor theatre too.

We paused in Koblenz for an ice-cream before heading back to the van, giving Pepper a quick swim.

Now, after much searching, we are alongside another tributary of the Rhine. We didn't like the first site, the next was lovely but a BIG party was to be held, the next site ok but we moved on to this one, which is just a wild camp. Problem here is the noisy party going on over on the opposite riverbank.... Maybe back to site 3 to get a hook up or hope the boom, boom, boom doesn't go on too late!
