Ready for action

Yep, it's those Samba Sisters again! This time we were playing in the parade at Annan Riding of the marches. A very impressive parade and a lot of folk out on the streets in glorious sunshine to enjoy it. A happy hour dancing around on the back of the truck playing Samba Reggae and then we were off to the school playing fields where we had been asked to play a set.....except that all the pipe bands in the world had gathered to play there as well.

Samba Sisters never like to annoy a pipe band...we like their music but our rhythms can clash with theirs :-)

Instead we played a few times at the entrance to the school, much to the amusement and entertainment of passers-by.

Some of the girls, who are made of stronger stuff than me, headed off west to play in the Relay for Life at Bladnoch. Respect.
