Up at 5am to drive to Ely and pick up the train to Birmingham. Read and marked up some textbook proofs on the way, and made some good progress with them. Lovely weather for it. Changed trains at New Street after picking up some lunch, and headed for the University, where I met up with some old and new friends; chatted, then the morning events - keynote and sessions. Here is me, talking about case studies and pedagogy. Left early afternoon, and visited the Lapworth Museum before heading back to the train station and the journey back. Home early evening, and settled in for film night with my son. A good day.
