Full stop
At the end of the week. Queued from 7.40am for 25 minutes to make an appointment to see a GP. Was given an appointment at 4.10pm at a surgery 2 miles away. Left work (next door to my GP) to arrive 5 minutes early and found the surgery was closed. Phoned the main one and was told that my appointment was there. Drove back and they were running 45 minutes late. Will queue again Monday am (usually and even longer queue) for a blood test appointment.
The man behind me had his sick, young child in his arms and the lady in front had been in a car accident the previous day and was very uncomfortable standing for so long. I am thankful for the NHS but there must surely be a better way!
