Oh, Carolina!

I struggled to decide which picture to share today, not because any were particularly good but because I had loads.

I decided to go to the lake to see if I could find any vultures (I'm a bit of a fan of vultures and kites) but there were none to be seen. Instead I ended up back in the garden watching the feeders. The cardinals are sticking to the trees and my 200mm lens doesn't quite have the reach to get them from my hidey spot. Instead I had more woodpeckers, a blue jay and this pair of wrens.

The character of these little birds is so endearing and as such, they are the subject I chose to share for today.
