Little Brussels

Brussels is awesome to photograph, there's something cool about the atmosphere in the streets during the day, whether its the more lively ones or the more run down deserted alleys.
All the buildings look like they belong to different styles, yet they're all stuck together in a way that gives the city a unique architectural style. There are also many many immigrants living in Brussels (more than Paris, I was surprised to find) and you can feel it in the vibe in the streets. I was reminded several times of Lisbon actually today!
All in all, there's a lot of character to the city, something I'm extremely glad for. As many people know, I was not psyched about moving from Paris to Brussels. Turns out its got a lot more life than I expected, even though its still got nothing on Paris.
The light today was sick as well, so I got tons of good shots. I'll probably put up a facebook album with a bunch of them to show you guys. The weather is crazy here, repeatedly switching from constant rain to beautiful sunshine.

Oh and we went to a sick flea market (Place Jeu de Balle) and a super chilled cafe (La Brocante). Then we continued furnishing the apartment in the evening! I'm in a rush, so I'll leave it at that...
peace
