Two!

Last year I planted red valerian and Lady's Bedstraw in my garden for the specific purpose of attracting hummingbird hawk moths. Their caterpillars feed on the bedstraw and red valerian is one of their food plants along with lavender & a few others. Last year I had one sighting of the hawkmoth. This week I've seen one on 2 different days. This morning at around 8:30am there were two of them! Two :)
