...this morning, we drove up to Poole to collect my son and his girlfriend from Parkstone station and, from there to our favourite seafood restaurant. The weather in Poole was dreadful so I took a shot of my delicious plate of oysters just in case. I shouldn't have worried because, even as we took the chain ferry from Sandbanks to Shell Bay, the sun came out and we were able to make a visit to Corfe Castle on our way back to Swanage.

D and A are only staying for the weekend and, as D bringing a girlfriend to visit is a unique event, it is time that we cannot afford to squander, so not much time will be spent online.

Tomorrow, we are taking them to Tyneham...
