I don't have the foggiest idea how old the photo is; and I doubt if Alice would have remembered. ANOTHER lesson - WRITE some info on the back of photos if you have "Hard copy".
5.5 years ago it looked like this, on which you can see the stump of a tree which, I think, predates even the photo.
Both the tall one and the short, dumpy Pine have gone since the photo and the Viburnum & HUGE Rhododendron have both "grew some" in 5 years.
AND the Buddleja alternifolia.
