RIP

Poor little chap. I got back home this evening to discover this beautiful woodpecker on the drive. S/he has lived in our garden for many years and I just hope died of natural causes rather than anything more sinister. I looked out of the kitchen window later and saw 3 woodpeckers - what appeared to be an adult and 2 young. So perhaps, hopefully this is just the natural cycle of things.
