Imperial War Museum North

I am up in Salford for the iBEE conference - Digital Futures. We had a walk around Salford and Old Trafford this evening. This is the Imperial War Museum North - which is in Old Trafford rather than Salford. My extra is of the footbridge (very elegant) that we walked over on our circuit. The Media City Footbridge is a swing-mechanism footbridge over the Manchester Ship Canal near MediaCityUK. It is an asymmetric cable-stayed swing bridge. It was designed by Gifford and Wilkinson Eyre. The bridge links MediaCityUK with Trafford Wharf. It weighs 450 tonnes, and has two spans of 65 and 18 metres"
