Meconopsis

There aren't too many blue poppies around now but when you know where to look in St Andrews Botanic Gardens you can still a find couple of flowers in among vast quantities of greenery. 
This one is in the wooded area the  across from the pond. 

Not a particularly good day weatherwise. We did manage nine holes of golf followed by a coffee at one of the tables outside the sports pavilion but from then it was downhill all the way ..... very blustery and an unexpected shower of rain. Typical Elie .... early evening and we now have blue skies .
